There must be relevance from the training environment to life and modern fitness is too often defined by appearance rather than work capacity and functional performance. Training environments which embrace appearance over performance will not produce superior physical performance and will not transfer what is earned in the training environment to life.
The physical space at the MAC has been carefully designed to accommodate the training needs of any and all clients, including Astroturf for agility and plyometric training, Everlast with Nike grind sports surfacing for weightlifting, and state of the art Woodway treadmills. An advantage of the MAC's location is the use of the vast array of trails along and above the Truckee River, including the popular ditch trail.
